Science learns from Ayurveda practice

In ayurvedic health check up, vaidyas estimate the toxic load carried

inside the liver, or liver cirrhosis by palpation of the liver area.

The amount of fat carried inside the liver, any hardening is judged

just by touch and palpation. The sound tells the vaidya the extent of

the problem.

 

Modern science wishes to do similar assessment, but does it in a much

more impressive way, so that glossy graphic report is available:

Result: The pictures, though impressive, patient does not understand much, but

the surgeon is happy to explain. Patient thinks how such a complex thing native

vaidya would have understood? Thanks god he came to right place. The scalpel is

eager to work on both liver and pocket.
