Guest guest
Dear members, Kheer ([rice + some dry fruits ]cooked in milk ) is supposed to be very nutritious. We should take it during winter as the agni is strong during this period. I would like to know: when should we take it : just after lunch/dinner or after 30/60minutes of lunch/dinner or as breakfast in morning or in the evening? Since lunch/dinner contains salty taste, will it not interfere with the digestion of milk in kheer? Is Carror kheer (grated carrot fried in oil and cooked in milk) equally good (there is lot of fibre in carrot) during winter? Can we take it during breakfast/lunch/evening/dinner without consideration of taste of other things eaten before it? Similarly what is the suitable time to drink milk to get maximum benefit? Is there some rule regarding when to take milk products (sweets/kheer etc)? Regards
