Ayurveda too has patient specific herbal combinations depending on dosha status. Ayurveda may have to face scientific tests and would show similar performance if standard medicines are taken by patients suffering from " standard " diseases. Guest guest
Dear Jagannath and all, Homeopathy does not fail tests. Homeopathy has, historically, surpassed conventional medicine in the treatment of epidemic and pandemic diseases, it surpasses conventional medicine in the treatment of acute diseases and it surpasses in the treatment of chronic diseases (the conventional-medicine-labeled " incurable " degenerative diseases such as asthma, hypertension, diabetes, eczema and so-on) The only reason you haven't heard about it is simply that the documentation has been suppressed by the media which is under the thumbscrews of BigPharma and the medical community that views its profession under threat. That's sad, since many in the homeopathic community would wish for a more comprehensinve and all-inclusive approach health care. There's plenty of research done out there, and its available to any serious reader or investigator. Its a false argument and idea to say that no one will research it because " it doesn't work " - BigPharma companies research many many many things that " don't work " (after all, what billions of $$ has been spent in so-called Cancer research for the last 40+ years yet no effective conventional drug yet has been found?). So if detractors are so interested to definitively prove homeopathy doesn't work, then let them please give some money for proper research and that'll put an end to the question. By refusing to research it and at the same time shout " it doesn't work " is not the way to close an argument. Let money be given for research, and then you can say accordingly " it works or it doesn't work " . However vested interests aren't looking to do that, because they know homeopathy will prove a viable and legitimate medicine. It can be tested only by people who are well acquainted with the theory behind it and practice it according to homeopathic principles. The disease-drug relationship cannot be tested in homeopathy as this method (homeopathy) does not recognise named disease states but rather has its own definition of disease states.
