Guest guest
Dear Noel and others while studying archive files I encountered some contradictory statment such as: in incompatible food article " Milk is incompatible with bananas " but in ayurveda Chines food it has been said " As a tonic food bananas are good with milk. With which they make a good, balanced whole food, or with rice and can be taken by the debilitated; those suffering from anemia or by weak children, preferable with cardamom, ginger or cinnamon... " which one is true? Kind Regards, Nader

Guest guest
Bhate's files state, and I quote " For some individuals eating bananas or jaggery with milk can diminish digestive juices, change the intestinal flora producing toxins and may cause sinus congestion, cold, cough and allergies. " Now he does state it is for some, and there is no doubt, that a banana milk shake, will do a number on your agni, But you can fire that back up again... Although I would not recommend a banana milk shake for a person with an imbalance and low agni you have to remember it's not what you do now and then that determines your health, it's what you do on a daily base. Guest guest
banana and milk are very common food and it does not trouble health. But allergic people may feel un easy with these foods, a very small percentage. One vaidya went to the vegetable market, and found every vegetable not suitable for some illness and so he returned without buying any vegetable!
