Greetings,

Thanks for recommending this website...

I'm sorry,... but I am new to ayurvedic... I was wondering

what " vaidya " meant?

Also,... have you and any one else on this list tried the on-line

courses that are offered by chakrapaniayurveda? Are they good?

Thanks again, ds

Seeing a Vaidya/Physician is the ONLY solution. When I took online tests to

determine my constitution I got it as Pitta and was eating food to pacify Pitta

and things became worse! However when my Vaidya checked my pulse and checked

other symptoms he conclude that my Prakruthi is Vata and currently having

Vata-Kapha disorders. The Vaidya was very patient to listen to all my problems (

which is very rare with allopathic doctors ) and after careful analysis

prescribed

Dashamoola Kashaya before breakfast

Drakshavaleha based tablet before dinner

AgastyaRasayana during bedtime

After taking the medicines he prescribed I'm seeing good progress in my health.

I wish to bring him on board to participate in Ayurveda discussion.

Anyways to all those who rely on internet based Ayurveda information , I cannot

emphasise more on the importance of seein a Vaidya in person.

Thanks,

Pradeep

I was talking with a 9th standard failed boy after his exam results.

I told him that i will give him some herbs to boost up his memory.

He coolly asked me what do you mean by memory sir?

I am shocked.  this was some years back.

Now he is a good farm labor.

Like that the question what is meant by vaidya?

R.vidhyasagar.
