Guest guest
hello, I am a 50yr old housewife. I often develope back pain if i stand for a long time or if I lift heavy weights. My knee joints also crackle often. I recently tried massaging my back and knee with dhanvanthari thailam and it seems to help. But the pain returns after a couple of hours. Is there anything wrong in applyingn this thailam 3 or 4 times a day? Also I am doing yoga daily for 30mts. Are there any yogic postures that are contraindicated if you have knee or back pain Thank you savithri kumar
Guest guest
savithri kumarji, Hari Om ! After taking allopathic medicines for time longer than say 6 months or so, it becomes necessary to remove the residues from the body, else the patient becomes victim of withdrawl symptoms worse than the original disease. Most allopathic medicines become ineffective in suppressing the symptoms in few months usage only. There is nothing wrong in applying this thailam 3 or 4 times a day. Firstly avoid milk, buttermilk, coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking & processed foods and exercise the affected joint every day religiously. Take lemon juice in a glass of hot water (as hot as you can drink) and drink it, 8 to 10 times a day. Initially for a few days you might feel that the pain is increasing but gradually it decreases. If you believe that sour things are bad for joint pains, though it isn't true, regularly take 3-4 walnuts (akhrot) on an empty stomach in the morning. Before you go to bed at night, take two cloves of fresh garlic and chop it and let it expose to the air for a few minutes ( not more than 5 mts). The chopping releases the enzyme alliance in the garlic. Gather the chopped garlic on a spoon and swallow it with water. The garlic will travel your entire digestive tract while you sleep and scavenge and neutralize all the toxins, carcinogens, harmful bacteria, fungi, viruses, foreign chemical before they can harm your healthy cells. Swallowing the chopped garlic will not give you garlic breath, as long as you don't chew it. You brush your teeth and rinse your mouth before you go to bed anyway. In the morning, drink a big glass of water. Your first bowel movement will have a strong garlic odor and you will know that the harmful stuff have been eliminated from your body. Before practice any natural medicine it is advisable that wash your stomach by enema or take some Tamarind in warm water and drink it at night , it can cause a loose motion, and your stomach will be clean, which will help you for a good treatment ( at least once in a Couple of week is best for maintain a good health). Guest guest
Tamarind is acidic and not recommended as a good food in Indian medicine. For reliving constipation there are many herbs . haritaki or thiribala is native practitioners choice.avoiding milk is not acceptable. a child grows by mother's milk. after few months it changes to animal milk that is how a Indian child grows .it is a good food. Traditionally swmis love drinking milk. but this swami differs. swmis can give some confidence and hope to patients. in that aspect they are good for treatments. they can refer them to some Senior physicians.
