Guest guest
Hello I am looking for good formulation of " Arogyavardhini " . 20 years ago I was put on Arogyavardhini for more than one year by Dr. Indubhushan Bade at Dadar, Mumbai. He used to give me his own formulation (under Brand name Muni Pharma) which was excellent. But now it is not available. I tried " Arogyavardhini " by Rasashala, Pune and Laxmi-keshav Aushadhalaya, Rajapur (Dist Ratnagiri) but it doesnt have same effect that formulation used by Dr. Bade. Any suggestions? Guest guest
The Arogyavardhini Vati have only one combination told in Samhitas . So when u buy it from any vaidya or any pharmacy , u will get the same composition as told in Samhitas . The difference u r getting is may be due to the faith of urself in Dr . Bade's pharmacy . U can take it of Arkashala - Satara or Bagewadikar Rasaushadhalaya . It will be good . Dr. Gandhi S.C.

Bade's pharmacy . > Author has two varieties of arogyavardhini, one with and another without kajjali (latter slashes cost by 60%) ayurveda/message/6494 And it can be rolled either in neem juice: ayurveda/message/4246 or in lemon juice/bhringraj juice too. Though samhitas suggested single formulation, corporate pharma alter it to obtain marketing niche. As post#14665 suggested, each vaidya can alter the formulation slightly to suit his region, season and patient. The difference in the pharma drug and vaidya drug is then equivalent to standard taste hotel food and home food which has slightly varying taste from meal to meal. Guest guest
Hello Honestly I did not have " courage " 20 years ago to ask Dr. Bade why he had given it to me. But I remember he saying this to me - " You should be able digest even stones! " At that time three members of my family (my grand mother, my mother and me) were receiving medication from Dr. Bade and two medicenes were common to all three of us - Samshamani Vati and Arogyavardhini. And believe me, in those I was studying at IIT-Mumbai and hostel food used to taste divine!! Thx to " Arogyavardhini " ! Of late I was on heavy antibiotics (Augmentin625) for a big boil (10 cm) on my thigh. There was cholecstasis due to antibiotics and abnormal weight gain. To best of my knowledge " Arogyavardhini " is good for cholecstasis. I tried for two days " Arogyavardhini " by Dr. Bade ( I have preserved three bottles all these years) and then switched to Rasashala and other formulation mentioned earlier. The results are remarkable witihin first two days - I have lost 2 Kgs... and there are other improvements in mood, and exercise performance. I hope this clarifies... Guest guest
This reminds me of the name for a yoga posture called " Rock Pose " . It is kneeling on the floor and sitting on one's heels. It is said that if one sits in this posture while eating, one can digest rocks. A good posture to do if one overeats is to sit in rock pose and lean back all the way until laying with back on floor.
