Sinus Issue

Hi All

We practice Prema Ayurveda -- with a focus on lifestyle guidance and

relationship counselling.

One of our clients has a persistent nasal condition, which seems to be

triggered when swimming.

He feels that his sinus cavities are larger than normal and finds if

he doesn't clear his nose by head inversion and sniffing of salty

water then infection develops with a high level of congestion. The

discharge becomes thick and turns yellow or green and sometimes brown.

The smell is not good

This man is aged around 30+ and has lived a healthy vegan lifestyle

for about 4-5 years

In our view the problem seems to be a structural issue and therefore

hard to address, but we wonder if anyone has any comments ?

Thanks everyone for all your comments -- we read them and gain from

them daily

Best wishes

Prema

I think it is the sinusitis . The best Ayurveda way to treat it is to provide

Nasya Karma , which is the best therapy amongst all for the problems regarding

the total structure above the neck ( head , face , brain , eyes , ears etc ) .

There are many types of Nasya Oils available . But it should be taken as per

the body type of the individual . Also some diet change is necessary too . To

avoid the congestion enhancing foods & habbits is the most important aspect .
