Guest guest
With all the literature available we now learn that soy is not very good for us and unless you have had your daughter tested it may not be the milk that is the problem. The Drs here will help you with Ayurvedic treatments but i am wondering what you wash your daughter's hair and body with - these products can often exacerbate problems in eczema patients, and using a chemical free soap is helpful. This also includes laundry detergents which can irritate skin from clothing and linen. As an allergy nurse I resolved a woman's eczema one time by using the foods she did not react badly to, as a soothing agent for her skin, these were oat porridge and also avocado but each case is different and should be treated individually. Sodium bicarbonate mixed with pure water into a solution smoothed onto the skin can also sometimes bring immediate relief. Now it is becoming uncontrollable and i am looking for suggestions and treatment.
Guest guest
Hello Abirami, There are a number of things possible in this case, even if you are located in west. You have not defined your location. Please see if you can obtain durva grass in your neighbourhood. See post#14198 to know more info about it. This grass is widely available in tropical regions. Its juice is effective in reducing the itching. The tablets " Vasant Malti Ras " are also useful to relieve mild itching in such cases. Eczema and asthma are related conditions (Post# 10869) coming under the broad spectrum of auto-immune diseases. Thanks to vaccines, antibiotics, steroids, c-section etc. Self urine therapy has been found effective and several patients have noted their experiences in a directory published by Water of life foundation in Mumbai, India. Post# 9626 discusses several remedies and food+lifestyle recommendations for eczema patients, while infantile eczema is discussed in post#9135, mentioning miracle medicine free for everyone. If you have access to neem tree, the paste made from its leaves, half a tsp turmeric mixed in, and rubbed lightly over the affected parts of the body helps curing eczema, but application should be twice a day for 6-12 months. This requires a long patience. Ayurveda existed much before Charak, Sushruta, Vagbhata. Garud puran mentions remedy for eczema in the form of ashtakquath(Post# 4632). If you can obtain these herbs in organic form, you can make this inexpensive decoction at home. Please check that the diet of the child does not contain any thing to which she is allergic. A simple test for this is described in post#4511. This itself will be a major step towards cure. Lastly, author has used simple garlic and noted good benefits in conditions such as eczema, vaginal yeast infection, psoriasis etc. The recipe is mentioned in post#1871. For those who cant obtain organic raw milk, they can use Indian cow ghee for stir frying garlic buds till they turn golden brown and then eat it. The dose should be carefully selected by a vaidya in this case. Turmeric+ Neem+Garlic paste, mix in little yogurt and application on itching sites is also found beneficial in a number of patients. Steroidal creams, when used long term bring in insulin resistance and more or less permanent darkening of the skin where they were applied. This becomes important for girls, as they are more beauty conscious later in life. Dr Bhate _____________ I have a 3 year old girl and she has suffered from eczema right from birth. Guest guest
Here is an article that provides insight into auto-immune diseases in children, especially in the west. The cause of such diseases extends beyond vaccines, antibiotics, steroids, etc. A must read for those who have children fighting with eczema, autism, etc.: http://www.pleiadians.com/sample_ptimes2.html [if you find that link is not working, retry after 12 hours, well written article] ____________________ Eczema and asthma are related conditions (Post# 10869) coming under the broad spectrum of auto-immune diseases.
