Guest guest
Regards all Actually Manasika chikitisa is same as told by Dr. Suresh. - Manasika gunas are related to doshas as - Satva - Pitta dominant Rajas - Vatta dominant Tamas - Kapha dominant - Food is also related to these guna & Doshas as there are Sattvika, Rajasika & Tamasika food is present in nature accordingly. - Triguna are described in " Shrimada Bhagwada Gita " in 'Chapter-17' specifically. - Afliction of Mind leads to increase in Rajas & Tamas Gunas and decrease in Satva Guna which leads to various disease of Mind along with both as are interlinked. Dr. Pardeep Kumar M.D. (Basic Principles of Ayurveda) Thesis Topic - Subtypes of Manas Prakruti. India _________________ 1)How the gunas Rajas, Tamas and Sattva are related to the doshas. 2)Besides food how are imbalances of the gunas treated or does one always focus treatment on the doshas. 3)Is the trigunas mentioned in the Gita? and how is this related to therapeutic treatment both in Ayurveda, Yoga and Jyotish 4) Furthermore what effect does Shirodhara have on the trigunas. Guest guest
The way I was taught, there is a sattvic, rajistic and tamasic state of all doshas. The goal is to have whatever dosha in balance, in state of sattva. I worry about a prejudicial stance against one or another dosha that I see sometimes....Vat is better, no Kaph best. Another piece is that the doshas don't just show up in the body, but created by the 3 aspects of prana....soma, agni and merut, taken into the body by air, food, water and crown chakra. Soma, the cooling, nourishing energy that the moon expresses goes on to create Kapha in the body, as well as upper and lower ojas. We are extremely deficient in soma these days because of the acidity of water, air and food taken in, and all the wi-fi chaotic electro-magnetic energy surrounding us. We get too much agni, the fiery, heating solar energy that goes on to create Pitta in the body; and merut is the circulatory energy from space that creates Vata. These days, bringing more prana, and more soma into the body through clean, intelligent food and water, time in nature, spiritual pursuits, and seeking balance, seems the best and safest way to bring more sattva into your life. I would worry that someone would misunderstand and take more Pitta provoking foods in search of it! _______________ - Manasika gunas are related to doshas as - Satva - Pitta dominant Rajas - Vatta dominant Tamas - Kapha dominant - Food is also related to these guna & Doshas as there are Sattvika, Rajasika & Tamasika food is present in nature accordingly. Guest guest
sir, i wud like to differ in opinion, satwa is not of pittha dominance, kapha in prakrtha form is satwa and vaikrtha form is tamas, both pitha and vatha are rajas manifestations.
