Hi,

How do we ensure the health of the Mano Vaha Srota. If a person is

suffering from headaches, dizziness, vertigo, pressure in the head,

tiredness. How can we unblock or allow for the proper flow of prana

through the mano vaha srota. How do we determine that one has excess

flow in this srota or it is blocked? Are there any diagnostic tools to

help with this. Are the treatments different for those that have excess

flow vs some blockage? The patient constitution is Pita, Vata with Vata

vitiation. I look forward to hearing from you.

Peace,Cosmic

An excess flow through the Manovahasrota would create Hyperactivity of

the mind, worry, anger, insomnia.

A deficient flow of the Manovahasrota creates dull sense, depression,

and grief.

A blockage of flow of the Manovahasrota shows no emotions, or

repressions of emotions.

A flow out of the Manovahasrota manifest as Psychosis, or

schizophrenia.

Treatment depends of doshic involvement and symptoms.

Thank you for youre reply

What about dizziness, instability, not able to focus or metabolize

information, a pressure in the head.

It appears to be an excess flow, but I can't be sure from here, and

guessing is not acceptable… A feeling of pressure in the head can be

either vascular dilation or vascular contraction… and these are just

symptoms of some other cause… It would be a good idea to know really

what you're dealing with here… You need to find an expert in your area…

Diagnostics and treatment is next to impossible through emails and the

Internet… This for forum should be for learning and not treatment! …

Sorry… Noel

Noel,

Yes I agree with you, however one may point one to the correct

direction or offer something they did not consider. In the end one must

make choose the correct path given the information at hand. Thanks for

your understansing.

Blessings,

C

After assessing health/unbalance of strotas, ayurveda offers wide

choices for treatment, but here each case is unique and may require

patient specific options. Some general guidelines can be learnt in

posts in the archives, listed in post 14437.
