Guest guest
Hallo It's the first time I write here. I am overweight (tall 192 cm, weight 115 kg) and lately my blood sugar level is above the normal limit (normal level 65-110, mine is 172). Sometimes ago I was prescribed to take Guggulu. They gave me Medohar Guggulu and Kanchanara Guggulu. These medicines have been prescribed in India, but unfortunatelly I lost the conctact with the Vaidya and I cannot ask him directly. Could anyone be so gentle to tell me which type is to be taken prior to the other and when during the day. Which way are they to be taken (maybe warm water..) Thank you very much gigarm Italy

Guest guest
The Guggulus help to decrease the Apachya Meda Dhatu ( Undigested Fat Content ) . They always enhance the excretion of the Apachya Meda Dhatu from the body . & helps to decrease the unwanted fats . As per Ayurveda science , the Blood sugar levels can be controlled upto certain limit with these Guggulus . So it will be good to take it . There is no such type of thing to be taken the either Kanchnar Or Medohar Guggulu previous or later . In fact those can be taken one after the another , preferably after Meals . U can take it at the specific time , if the Vaidya , whom u had consulted , stated it . As anybody dont know ur body constitution , it is hard to tell about the doses as directed by ur Vaidya . But in my opinion , u can take it as stated earlier . There is no harm . They can be taken with Hot water 3 times a day . Morning dose should be on empty stomach & then the doses in the daytime should be after meals . Some Kapha pacifying diet will be helpful too . Routine exercise can help to reduce weight . Decreasing Sedentary lifestyle , cold water drinking , alcohol intake , sticky foods , high calorie diet will help more . Dr . Gandhi S . C . Guest guest
Gigarm, Medohar Guggulu and Kanchanar Guggulu can be taken together simultaneously. The standard dose is 2 tablets three times a day. The maximum one time dose of each dose can be 4 tablets of each three times in a day. The treatment can be continued for 6 months at a stretch, and then reviewed about its effectivity and continuation.
