Guest guest
Forgive me if this has already been addressed, but I've been searching through the old message posts and files and have not found anything. Due to an fall, I fractured a lumbar vertebrae and have a bulging lumbar disc (to the side and to the back) which cause constant tightness, numbness and loss of feeling. Doctors only want to prescribe narcotics and epidural spinal injections. Currently, I go for massage and chiropractic adjustments. I've read that a paste of ginger followed by eucalyptus oil can help but haven't tried that yet. I've asked the doctors about yoga and pilates but they have advised against it. Yoga has been used as part of an ancient healing system for thousands of years. I know there are things that can be done and poses that probably should not be attempted. What can I do as far as diet, herbs, and yoga postures that will help rehab the disc and correct the problems? Namaste
