Misfunctioning of pineal gland

Dear Vadiyas,

I have again a question because of this friend of mine whose

condition is still unclear. His medical doctor said that his severe

insomnia is caused by a misfunction of the pineal gland. Something

offset the normal functioning of this gland. She advised my friend to

undergo a regime of not sleeping for 48 hours ( I forgot actually the

exact number of hours she had suggested to my friend)keeping awake

and busy all the time and then finally after this prolonged time of

being awake of succombing to sleep. This would reset the normal

functioning of the pinal gland she said. My friend was advised this

way already previously in this psychiatric hospital where he was. But

h was offered another alternative of receiving light therapy which he

took at that tome although only for short as h was scheduled already

for leaving the hospital again.

My friend has not yet done this. He shies away from it somewhat as he

feels too weak right now, too exhausted to really dare to undergo

this regimet - but I am sure eventually he will do it after having

gathered his strength. (He is not living where I live.)

Is there any advice from the standpoint of Ayurveda in regard to

strengthening the pineal gland. I read (but not as an Ayurvedic

advice) that colloidal gold has an influence on the pineal gland.

Shirdodhara I know is impacting the pindeal gland as well. However,

it is difficult for him to find someone to provide Shirodhara to him

and maybe it is not enough in his severe Insomnia condition.

Does Swarna Bhasma have an influence on insomnia and the pineal gland?

Is there anything else he could do to normalize the functioning of

the pineal gland?!

I assume this misfunctioning is also causing his depressive

state?!

Is Dabur or Baidyanath a safe address to get Searna bhashma without

toxic effects?

Sorry for bothering you again! But he still feels miserable a lot.

GREAT THANKs to you and Namaste

Margot
