Guest guest
Treatment of corns - 1) Aushadhi means internal administration of medicine. This depends on the severity of the condition, prakruti and other factors. 2) Shastra karma means use of surgical measures like cutting the corn. This also depends on the size. 3) Kshar karma means use of herbs having caustic effects on the corn, due to which the corn falls off spontaneously after Kshar application. Kshar-sutra is an well-known application of this method. 4) Agni karma means use of heated metallic rods or herb seeds for burning the corns. This procedure is similar to cautery. All of these treatments should be done under guidance and supervision of Ayurvedic consultant. These are not domiciliary procedures.
