Guest guest
Dear Member, Kidney disease or severe decline in kidney function leads to excessive retention of waste products in the body (a condition called " uremia " ), for which heamodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is necessary. Kidney failure is a serious disease, and all affected patients should be under the supervision and treatment of an experienced and qualified Urologist. There is no established ayurvedic cure. Nevertheless the Ayurvedic treatment, if taken regularly for prolonged periods, may help to reduce the frequency of dialysis and improve kidney function. However, the decision to reduce or stop dialysis should be taken by the attending Urologist, and not by the patient. Traditional Ayurvedic medicines which are useful in chronic renal failure are: Gokshuradi Guggulu, Punarnava Guggulu, Chandraprabha Vati, and Gomutra preparations such as Gomutra Haritaki. Single herbal medicines useful in this condition are: Aloe vera juice , Gokshur (Tribulus terrestris), Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa), Varun (Crataeva nurvala), and Saariva (Hemidesmus indicus). To my clinical experience with few renal failure patients, multiple courses of " Vasti " both the " Anuvasan " and " Niruh " types, are recommended . The supervised oral administration of Nag Bhasma is fond effective in selected patient. It is believed that this treatment modality acts upon the " Apana Vayu " which in turn acts upon the kidneys and improves kidney function. The ayurvedic treatment is always individualized as per condition of the patient. Guest guest
Another remedy is to eat asparagus (you can put it in a blender for easier eating) in the morning and evening every day. GB
Guest guest
Asking for medicines in kidney failure online can be a risky proposal. There are many good preparations which can help the kidney to some extent, but if the medicines are of substandard quality, they can also have toxic effects on kidney. This can be a boom-rang. There may be tall claims from different quarters claiming cures for kidney failure, but none of these claims have been validated or have exhibited large-scale effectivity. Be vigilent and cautious before actually starting any of the remedies. _______________ I've been on Dialysis for a year now, and want to know anyone out there who is able to help or have any knowledge how to treat kidney failure with ayurveda.........
