We, in St. Patrick's Town Cooperative Housing Society, Pune have started Yoga

Class since 30.6.08. Well-trained Yoga teachers from Patanjali Yog Samiti, Pune

are conducting the class daily free of charge. The following is the first report

of various health benefits gained even within the first 3 or 4 weeks.

Baba Ramdev has set up such committees in all 550 and odd districts of India and

abroad. Baba Ramdev whom I consider Yogavatar has spread his message of good

health through yoga and pranayam all over the world including Uk, USA, Canada

and other countries totalling 169 across the globe. The Baba indeed has brought

" satyuga " during the midst of this dreaded " Kaliyuga " . That only an avatar

(incarnation of God) alone can do. Even dreaded diseases are geting cured as

seen on Aastha Channel TV which is telecasting his Yog Science camps daily.

After finishing his camp in Washington DC, he is going to Vancouvar, Canada for

conducting a simialr camp over there. Last year, he had held a camp at Toronto

also.

Why I am saying all this is to make us realise that if all good people join this

revolutionary movement, it won't take much time to change the world scenario of

good health, peace, progress and tranquility.

Here is the report of one of the thousands of camps being held daily all over

the world, that too an initial report of the first few weeks:

Report of the Yoga Class being held from 30.6.08 at the St. Patrick’s Town

Housing Society Club House:

Thanks to the Patanajli Yog Samiti, Pune, regular yoga classes are being

conducted free of charge by Samiti’s trained Yog Teachers. Seniorr. Yog

Teacher and Samiti official, Mr. Suresh Jadhav who started teaching yoga

regularly from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. also told about the benefits of Ayurvedic herbs

called “Punar-nava†and “Gur Velâ€, also called Amrit Vel, both having a

rejuvenating effect in diseased persons. The benefits reported by a few of the

persons who are attending regularly in just about 3 to 4 weeks are as under:

Mrs. Kalpana Salunke, 65, wife of late Mr. Vilasrao Salunke who was founder

president of Pani Panchayat that had revolutionized small farmers practices by

guaranteeing water for at least ½ acres of land. She does a lot of social work

in rural areas besides being a committee member of St. Patrick’s Town Housing

Society. She says, “My neck pain due to spondylitis is much reduced. Stomach

problems like constipation have disappeared. Now I am getting good sleep and

feel energetic the whole dayâ€.

Mrs. Kashmira Irani, 43, a teacher, says, “I have stopped taking B/P

medications. I feel better and can go up and down the stairs without any pain

and panting for breath. I am breathing much better now with no clogged nostrils

any more. I feel energetic and fine whole day without being lethargic.

Mrs. Lily Menzies, 66, who is running the Tiny Tot’s nursery school for 30

years, says, “I feel lighter, energetic and quiet at peace with myself. The

negative feelings have changed to positive feelings. Although I am able to

attend only for about half an hour due to my other duties, I feel the bliss in

doing pranayam. I don’t get angry as quickly as before and am able to cool

down fast.

Mr. Prakash Jagtap, 62, who runs his own industry at HIE had stiffness in legs

due to poor blood circulation. There is much improvement now. I am diabetic and

had a by-pass surgery 5 years ago. I feel better without any weakness in working

the whole day. I will get diabetes checked up again and would let you know more

later on. Even then, I feel that I am in overall control of my health.

Mrs. Y. Extross, 64, Vice Principal (Retd), St. Patrick’s High School says,

“Although I have just attended the yoga classes for 14 days only, I have

started feeling very calm and cool, more energetic without getting worked up or

annoyed as before. I am able to sit down on the ground now for doing yoga and

pranayams. I have developed a feeling of overall general wellbeing.

Mrs. Moti Sanjana, 71, says that her knee pain is much reduced. She can sit down

even for two hours at a stretch for doing pranayam without any problem. She

feels deep in meditation and peace.

Ruzbeh Mehta, 25, a builder says, “I sleep better without waking up or getting

disturbed. My sleep got regulated to normal and I can get up without any alarm.

I can now sit in “Vajrasana†pose without any difficulty. The daily attacks

of cough and cold have vanished. I feel a few years younger, extremely fresh and

energetic through out the whole day without any stiffness in the body.

Mr. S. M. Acharya, 77,ex-Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies and the former

managing director of the Maharashtra Cooperative Sugar Factories’ Federation

(Sakhar Sangh of Sakhar Bhavan, Mumbai) says, “I feel very fresh, energetic

and active whole day without getting tired so often. My lycoma (round glands in

the arms) has gone by doing pranayam, there being no other cure for it. My

injured right knee joint swelling has gone although some senior orthopedic

surgeons including the well known Dr. K. H. Sancheti had recommended total knee

replacement surgery. That is no longer required. I am able to walk more than a

kilometer now. Chronic constipation has also gone without any stomach problems

or indigestion. I had a heart attack 25 years ago but now I am able to manage

nicely without any medicines. 30 year-old asthma is also gone. I had frequent

attacks of cough, cold and sneezing followed by pneumonia. That problem is also

solved with no allergies

any longer.

Kindly make Xerox copies of this report and distribute to your friends and

relatives urging them to attend these free Yoga Classes with family for better

health and freedom from sickness and disease. For more info, please to
