need help for angioplasty

Dear all vaidyas,

I am one of daily reader of ayurveda. I had gone under

angioplasty on 6/27/08. I had long time high cholesterol as well high

tryglyceraldehyde also . When dr used prescribe lipitor , i coudn't

take b'coz, i feel that there is no muscle in my body . I tried to

control whatever i can by diet. Any way finally i do have to go

through angioplasty. they put 2 stent on my left arteries.Dr said they

coudn't do any thing about right artery b'coz it is already damaged .

I might had 1-2 mild heart attak brfore .Which i didn't recognised.

Now my Dr prescribe the medicine which is plavix 75 mg x1 at night

(may be for heart).crestor 10mg for control cholesterol x1 at

night.bystolic 5 mg x1(beta blocker or control high pressure)my presuure

usually stay may be 86/140.some times quite normal . but at the time of

angioplasty it was 180/96. may be i was nervous. even i am taking this

medicline still i do get little pain in my heart . what does it

indicate?

When i take all this medicine i do get hives .i do have hives

problem even i don't take this medicine also. Can i replace all this

mediine from ayurvedic medicine. What is beta blocker? What is the

function of it?I would like to stop this allopthic medicine. it does

give me side effect like hives, burning in stomach.

 

I do have a another problem of urine . It is always total clear

may be hazy, but not yellow.Does it mean that my kidney is not

functioning well and filter properly? My toxins are not going out?

Please help me for all my problems

Mayuri,

Even though all your medicines cannot be stopped, ther are many Ayurvedic

regimes and Panchkarma procedures to heal your condition and help to protect

your heart from further daamge.

 You are the only one replied for my question. I was waiting for answer since

long time.I really appericiae it. So should i continue with my plavix and beta

blocker? with my ayurvedic medicine. I am taking now hridayamrit sp it won't be

enough ?

Please guide me

Mayuri,

At present, you will have to continue with your medicines prescribed by your

cardiologist/cardio-surgeon, till there is satisfactory Ayurvedic coverage and

the till the time that heart recovers to such an extent that you will have no

need for allopathic medicines. You will need actual and personalised Ayurvedic

regime to acheive this, which can only be done under the intensive care and

management of Ayurvedic consultant, who is well-versed with such maanagements.

Till then you may continue both these medicines, allopathic and Ayurvedic

simultaneously. Keep a check on your blood-pressure as it tends to fall

down/reduce due to combination therapy, leading to low blood-pressure,giddiness,

vertigo etc. Stopping any beta-blocker also can have violent

side-effects/reactions. So, a very cautious approach becomes necessary.

I am not aware of the contents of Hridayamrut sp. as it is not the name of any

ethical combination from Ayurvedic scriptures like Arjunarishta, Hridayarnav Ras

etc. If you send the list of ingredients, i may be able to comment on it more

clearly.
