I read somewhere on the net that hypersalivation is also a symptom of mercury

poisoning. Did your friend get treated with amalgam fillings? Those fillings

contain mercury that evaporates slowly when one chews food.

Overactive glands is a sign of toxicity or pressure from nearby

tumor/infection.
