Dear Ayurvedic Community,

 

Blue Sage Ayurveda and Rudramandir are proud to present this series of

Ayurvedic classes and workshops offered by Nepal's first woman to become

an Ayurvedic Physician- Dr. Sarita Shrestha. She will be offering

individual consultations, programs open to the public and ones for

advanced practioners.

 

Dr. Sarita Shrestha, M.D. Ayurveda Nepal, OB/GYN, BHU, BAMS, has taught

and consulted for over 20 years in international institutions,hospitals

and clinics. She has received numerous international awards honoring her

presentations and services with special recognition as the first Nepali

woman Ayurvedic physician and specialist. Dr Shrestha is renowned in Nepal

for achieving 94% conception rate in difficult fertility cases. She is the

Founder/Director of Devi Ma Ayurveda Rural Hospital, Director at

Dhanwantari Hospital, attends to patients at several clinics and teaches

throughout the US three months each year.

SCIENCE AND DIVINITY OF AYURVEDIC HERBS

 

*Come listen to two teachers from the timeless Ayurveda tradition expound

on the use and tradition of Ayurveda herbs. Special Guest Speaker to

Vedika Gurukula Dr. Sarita Shreshtha will be

ritually welcomed to the Gurukula family through tilak ceremony and by the

collective chants of Gurukula students welcoming the teacher. She will

enlighten the audience by expounding upon the multifaceted usage of

popular Ayurvedic herbs and how simple herbs consumed in daily use can

impact our health and well being, so profoundly and permanently.

Gurukula teacher Pratichi Mathur will follow up by expounding upon the

divinity inherent in the herbs. We will be celebrating the amazing herb

tradition of Ayurveda with interconnected excerpts from the Atharva Veda

(magical herbs), Upanishads and chants from the Ayurveda scriptures.

 

*You will walk away with the enchanted forest of Ayurveda herbs in your

heart.........and knowledge of their use, clearly embedded in your mind. .

SACRED HEALING CIRCLE - Sunday June 15th, 7-8:30pm

In this intense time of global transition and change each of us needs to

deepen our compassion and to take responsibility for integrating the

change. This Healing Circle will be an opportunity to do just that for

both men and woman! Sarita will share traditional Indian puja (fire

ceremony), mantra, yoga asana and stories from her heritage during this

time. It will be a time of sharing and deep introspection. Healing and

offerings will be made on many levels - personally, environmentally & for

world peace. Join us in making this world a better place.
