Hi all,

I just wanted to share with the list. The other night (there were about four

of us giving each other Reiki at my friend's house) I was receiving Reiki and

holding a quartz crystal with one of the points aimed at my right temple

area. The energy coming from that stone was palpable and felt very powerful.

When they were finished with me I sat down and started seeing auras. Has

anyone else experienced this?

Hello, Manic - You missed out the town you're from just outside of London - I'm

up north at Nelson, in Lancashire, just settled there after 30 years in Oz.

Welcome, this is a lovely group and I thought I would tell you all a story about

citrine as it is well known for abundance and keeping the finances ticking over.

I used to do Tarot readings and sell my crystal jewellery in the little country

town I lived in, in Queensland, but this particular Sunday it was very quiet.

In the previous week, a woman I knew (who had forgiven me for buying a beautiful

Canadian turquoise necklace the day before she finally decided to buy it - but I

needed it for comfort as I thought my father was dying, which he didn't

ultimately!) rang me and said she'd bought a cross with citrine faceted stones

at an aunction, got home and decided it wasn't for her, and thought of me. She

brought it to the markets and left if for me to wear and make up my mind whether

I wanted to buy it. It had been extremely quiet until then and the nice lady

next to me asked me about the citrine and when I said it was for abundance, you

could see her think I was a bit off the wall. But as soon as I put this

beautiful necklace on, business poured in for me and no-one else, it was

amazing, and by the end of the session, the woman was a convert and was telling

everyone about the necklace I'd put on. Oh yeah, almost forgot, of course I

bought the citrine and it is one of my favourite pieces and in a shop two weeks

later synchronicity sent me a pair of matching earrings! The rest of your

message has suddenly disappeared but if you want to use clear quartz, why not

try holding it and asking for a message about what each one can be used for and

then attune yourself and it to that purpose? Have you, before you do this,

cleansed your crystal of old energies. There are lots of ways - holding under

running water, holding in your hands, etc., have a look on the site and see

which one you find suits you. You may be surprised at the information that

Your stones sound lovely! You most certainly can use the quartz

point now on yourself. After it is cleansed just hold it to get a

feel for it and go with your intuition as to where to place it. If

you have a certain spot that hurts just place the crystal on that

spot for awhile. You can meditate with it also and see what somes

to you.

I have a feeling this will not be your last quartz crystal! It is

so addictive and fun to work with crystals! You sure got it for a

wonderful price and congratulations on that!

Hello Maureen,

I'm an Essex girl. I've put the quartz point on the windowsill for 24 hrs to

cleanse it. I rinsed it under water first.

I didn't know citrine was for abundance, I must hurry up and finish stringing

the citrine beads with little chips of hematite, I could do with some more work

(I'm self employed). I bought the necklace at a boot sale, the lady that sold it

was just selling off her own stuff, that was the only crystal stuff she had. She

had bought the necklace in Prague a few years ago, I've cleaned and cleansed it

and am going to make it into a shorter necklace with a matching bracelet.

Looking forward to wearing it now.
