Book on Damar Tantra

Hello there:

 

I was wondering if anyone knows where to purchase books like " Damar Tantra "

from. They are obviously not available in the US. If you know of any online book

shop that sells books on Tantra, Ayurveda, etc., please let me know. Or, if you

know of a book shop that will accept orders over the phone with a credit card,

that will work as well.

A very good place to buy books on Tantra and Ayurveda is abebooks.com. You can

order on-line and pay with credit card. Hope you`ll find what you`re looking

for.

Damartantra is an excellent and exclusive book on " Shivambu " .Must read

every body.

I have the book in pdf format,It is in Sanskrit with excellent English

commentary.

As i couldn't find file upload option in this group.I just uploaded in

another group.

on vigyan bharirava tantra.vigyan bharirav tantra is talks of lord

shiva and godess parvati.

I recently purchased a book called " Advanced Yoga Practices " by Yogani that

talks about " Shivambu " in moderate detail. It also has a summary of several

other Yogic techniques to stay healthy and advance spiritually...

There are very few good online book stores for ayurveda related

literature. Many times the books listed at the site are not

available with them. Those who publish this literature do not seem

interested in offering them online.

Another problem for those residing outside India is the shipping

charges. Most often the charges of courier companies are twice or

thrice that of the book.

Recently a friend of mine from Finland enquired if I could procure a

book on numerology for him. He had tried ordering from the

publishers site but had got no response. I checked whether the book

was availble at Indian shopping sites and since it was listed, I

ordered the same after paying online. After 4 weeks of followup via

email and phone I was informed that though the book was listed it

was not available with them. Without any apology they simply

refunded my money.

After that I tried some big book stores in Mumbai and was lucky to

get a copy. Also since my friend said he didn't mind waiting for the

book, I send it to him by post at almost 1/3rd of courier charges

and to our surprise he received it in 7 days.

So the best way to obtain such books is to ask for someone in India

to search for it offline and have it sent by post.

There is a book-store in Dadar, Mumbai which deals exclusively with

ayurveda books and they have a very good collection.

Also the Motilal Banarasidas shop at Mahalaxmi is a good source.
