Guest guest
kumkum is traditionaly made by mixing turmeric with borax and immersed in lime fruitjuice for two days then hand crusherd to powder adding little gingely oil. this has a maroon or dark red colour and is not allergic to skin. but in market paint chemicals are used to make colour and some times causes skin allergy. from time im memorial vaishnavaites are using thrichoorna which has a orange red colour which is lead oxide. It is harm less , medicnally it heales chronic wounds . western cocoa cola and pepsi made the whole world population unhealthy due to it's osteosporotic effects, it weakens pancreas and encouraging type two diabetes in world population at early ages it is the most health hazardous drink about which health concious people to focus attention and not thrichroona the lead oxide. lead has lot of medicinal applications and it is not cyanide. Guest guest
i have mixed turmeric and calcium (the type we use to make Paan) this gives a orange red color. Am I to use borax if I want deep red? Do we mix with lime juice rather than water? --------------------------- r vidhyasagar wrote: kumkum is traditionaly made by mixing turmeric with borax and immersed in lime fruit juice for two days then hand crushed to powder adding little gingely oil. this has a maroon or dark red colour and is not allergic to skin. but in market paint chemicals are used to make colour and some times causes skin allergy. from time im memorial vaishnavaites are using thrichoorna which has a orange red colour which is lead oxide.
