Ashram, Trivandrum: What makes India’s culture the world class is its

spiritual strength,

opined the Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Sri. L K Advani. Sri. Advani was

visiting Santhigiri Ashram at

Pothencode near here, to inaugurate the

10 days’ Celebrations on the occasion of Nava Oli Jyothir Dinam-9.

 

He made these remarks after having the

darshan from the spiritual head of Santhigiri Ashram. India’s glory is upheld

because of its culture is rooted

in spirituality. The purpose of his

visit is not only to inaugurate the celebrations but also to seek the blessings

from Guru. He added that Santhigiri

Ashram is the embodiment of spirituality. He confessed that the political

ambience is highly polluted and people

like him are visiting only to get cleansified and seek all the blessings for

success in all their endeavours.

 

He

was received with all ceremonial trappings by the Sanyasis and Jananis at the

Ashram and he offered flowers at the ‘Parnasaala ‘ ( where Guru rests) and

participated in the Special prayer.

 

He

was advised by the Spiritual head SishyaPoojitha Janani Amrutha Jnana Tapaswini

to lead life as per Yuga Dharma. She

also emphasised the importance of bringing-up children as per Yuga Dharma.

 

The

welcome speech was delivered by the Director of the Ashram Swami Gururethnam

Jnana Thapaswi. The function was presided over by the Octogenarian

Parliamentarian Sri. Varkala Radhakrishnan and participated by the former union

minister Sri. O. Rajagopal, the

BJP national Secretary Sri. Balvir Punj,

the state BJP president Sri. N. N. Krishnadas, the congress leader Sri.

Peethampara Kurup among other dignitaries.

 

The

general secretary of the Ashram Swami Chaithanya Jnana Tapaswi presented a

memento to Sri. L K Advani.
