Guest guest
I have taken a lot of steroids (4 medrol dose paks and a couple of the shots) this year for my arthritis because I don't have a rheumatologist and don't know what else to ask for when it flares so bad that I can't move otherwise. I know this can't be good for my adrenal glands, so what can I do to make them stronger? I keep thinking that if I can keep the inflammation under some sort of control, then the arthritis might not progress as fast but it doesn't seem to be working too well. My elbow is partway dislocated right now and I didn't do anything to it, it is from the arthritis. I am not sure whether to leave it alone or ask the doctor to help when I go tomorrow. She hasn't been much help otherwise, except to recommend flaxseed in place of the 3 cholesterol meds the cardiologist put me on. I do feel better without them, so that was good.
