Guest guest
Marilyn, You expressed an interest in finding another hypnotherapist. If your area yellow pages is too small to be of much help, you might search using the key word hypnosis at . / You could post a message, asking about someone who'd be reasonably close to you. Then if someone responds, you could search past messages using their name or e-mail to see if you like their " style " and personality. Here's an example of one such group: hypnosis-hypnotherapy/ The above group has over 1,100 members. Here's another possible resource for you. It's a different kind of approach, but fascinating. I'm trying to learn more about it myself. EFT - Gary Craig Rich Putman in Minnesota USA examples of enhanced lives

Guest guest
Hello all, Can anyone in the group please provide feedback about Hypnotherapy. Does it really help in removing negative thoughts in one's mind. How effective is it in helping an individual. Are there any drawbacks associated with it. Does it cause any harm to anyone. Does self-hypnosis help an individual to make best use of their capabilities. Any feedback on this is highly appreciated. Any good books on the same are also most welcome. Regards, Pushpa
Guest guest
Hi Pushpa - I've heard Maharishi explain that it doesn't remove the root cause, just displaces it into another sector of our system in some way. I have heard many good results, it is hard to be negative about it, also realizing there are many practices which may do the same sort of thing. And perhaps until full enlightenment, most anything can be said to do that. But my preference is to work with ayurvedic diet, lifestyle and suitable pranayamas, shirodhara - these things are probably going to be less expensive and more directly integrative for the changes they bring about. Ysha Can anyone in the group please provide feedback about Hypnotherapy.
