Guest guest
Dear Priitaa, Trust yourself and your experiences. Doctors/scientist are not infallible, they often work for these industries - pharma, dairy, insurance diet, and many others. Hence, they have conflicts of interest. They have their own agendas. Money is often the basis of them; for instance, the medicos outlawing midwifery [in the past] and attempting to outlaw plant-based medicines [today]. It is a rare individual who does not get mucous from drinking milk or it products. hare krishna, Chamae __________ So my questions is: Does anyone out there who knows Ayurveda and allopathic medicine, can you provide me with some medical evidence that they are wrong about cold milk 'not' producing mucous? Guest guest
Cold milk most certainly causes mucus. It is difficult to digest and slows the digestion and causes mucus - the effects can be seen in the system taht is weakest. MMy daughter for example, is a very kapha child. I always give her hot milk. For one week she began drinking two glasses of cold milk a day. The result was that she could not have a bowel movement. This was due to poor digestion and mucusy nature of the stools. When we stopped the cold milk she returned to having regular bowel movements. The thing we must always remember is that our vedas are science. Modern day science is a product of kaliyuga. If we want to know the truth we ned to look at our scriptures which are based on the highest knowledge of great saints. These great saints were able to describe planets and the cosmos - certainly they knew about milk. Science is slowly going to ascend back to that ancient wisdom, but until then we are blessed with the Vedas as a source for knowledge on how to live so that we enjoy peace and health.
