I would like to make a correction or treat it as my query.

It is mentioned Shanu Bhasma from Calcium. I have still not come across such

bhasma name.

However, calcium bhasmas are prepared from various natural sources. Like -

Shankh bhasma from conch, kapardik bhasma from couries, Mikta shukti bhasma from

pearl shells, moti bhasma from pearls, Praval bhasma from corals.

Will you elaborate more on this Shanu bhasma ?

I would like to highlight two facts --

1) that Kerala is one of the centres of Ayurveda in India, and not the only one.

2) that many reputed pharmacies from Kerala have bhasmas in their medicines.

Do you use bhasma and have you seen side effects?

Also, do you know whether the metals are still toxic if prepared according to

shastra?
