An edema in leg due to varicose veins

Hi,

My mom has had some pain in her foot for the past week and something

and the foot also got an edema. We visited a doctor and he said it

could be due to varicose veins (because my mom hadn't hurt her leg by

anything). But we are not completely sure that is right. Because mom

also had a pain under the flank in the leg for a long time (maybe

this doesn't have anything to do with the edema and pain in foot, but

we don't know). She actually has been having varicose veins for a

long time. Now she is taking the medicine what the doctor prescribed

- Detralex (contains micronized flavoid fraction 500 mg diosmin 450

mg hesperidin 50 mg) tabs and Profenid gel for applying on the leg

(contains ketoprofen 2,5 mg).

I would like to ask about any remedy that you could recommend (any

type of curing). And also, I kindly ask you to confirm that it's

because of varicose veins, or if it's because of something else -

please, just say. Maybe the information I give is not enough, if it's

like that - please, ask me what you need to know.

Thanks a lot in advance

Really I wish my mom can feel good.

Best regards and warm kisses

Rose

It does sound like a circulation problem if she has swelling as well.

Does she have a lower back injury or sciatic pain?

She can use oil to massage the leg with sweet flag herb in it.
