Guest guest
I have a question...today is Sunday where I live in Palm Desert, California; and, I read in YOGA CHICAGO magazine that Sunday and Thursday's should be dry days. Dry brushing our bodies (no oil massage), and steaming our foods. Can someone on the group talk about this. Guest guest
Dear Patti, There were no Sundays and Thursdays when Ayurveda was initially taught 5000 years ago and even in today's Ayurvedic books no mention as to any specific day occurs during the mention of Dina-charya (daily chores) or Rutu-charya (Seasonal adaptations) with reference to the current weekdays.
