I have a simple question, can we use Triphala tablets in children with

age group of 7 and 9 years.

Suggestions from Vaidhyas please, and also from experienced moms...

Dear friend,

Yes, we do give Triphala in young patients, age between 7 to 9.

The dose is not fixed. Usually I start with half tea spoon powder with

comfortable warm water, preferably at bed time. Then we ca adjust the dose -

higher or lower side.

For the tab., you have to try in the same manner. Start with half tab or one

tab. Tablets from different manufacturers have different potency and can react

differently.

I wish you are satisfied with the answer.

Greetings,

Dr. Prerak Shah

Dear Friend,

For which health condition, you need to give Triphala to a young child for

longer period? Certainly you are not asking for Triphala as Rasayana for

children. I believe that children does not require Rasayana like Triphala in

usual condition.

Thanks.
