Guest guest
hello, your patient or friend sounds very similar to many people i have met. Is he thin or heavy, what is his hair and height? first he needs to regulate his schedule of eating and sleeping and should go walking daily. oil massage with sesame oil daily and twice or thrice a week to the head with oil is also helpful. he needs to do daily pranayama. This is treatable, but Weill require him to change the essence of who he is. He will need to first discipline himself physically so that he can gain control on his mind and strengthen his will. Deep breathing is helpful. Eating slowly and at the same time daily is helpful. Eating nourishing foods and omitting junk food is helpful. Omitting coffee and tea slowly is helpful. Reducing Internet and TV use is helpful. No late night TV or Internet use. Bedroom by 10:30 Waking by 6:00 to do breathing, oil bath and light walking. Three meals and two snacks at the same time daily breakfast at 7:30 - nuts and juice and fruit snack at 10 again fruits and herbal chamomile tea lunch - a good lunch with balance between protein, carbs, vegetables is needed, hot is better. Snack around 3:00 fruits Supper by 7:00, no later lighter than lunch he should walk after supper for fifteen to twenty minutes. He should prepare for bed by 10 and try to sleep by 0:30 this type of schedule will keep his mind on task and will give him a good deal of discipline. I have found that people who suffer from anxiety are of two types, those who are over scheduled and those who are under scheduled. Those who are under scheduled usually have fear of small things or things that are routine to others like travel, going to work etc. Those who are over scheduled tend to have such rigid time lines and are afraid they will be late, they will fail, they will not excel etc. Hope this helps Mandakini __ Requesting valuable advise from ayurvedic experts for a chronic case of Anxiety neurosis.
