Henoch-Schönlein Purpura

Dear members,

 

the son of a friend, aged 23, is suffering from HS purpura that started six

months ago. He said " I have never suffered that much " , so it is a big concern

for her mother as you can imagine. The disease started with a big throat-ache

and 2-3 days later the sensation of a hot swelling of the veins (so much he

thought they were about to burst) and difficulty to use his hands. Now, he is

feeling cold while usually he was always looking for cold temperatures and was

sleeping with the windows open even in winter time (which means a pitta

constitution if I'm not wrong).

 

Please could you tell me what are the cause of this disease, as it does not seem

to get better and he can hardly move ? what is the advised diet if any ? etc.

The allopaths find it hard to provide efficient remedies or solutions, can

ayurveda be of any help ?
