Guest guest
So true! As a Pagan I celebrate a new year at Samhain, but whenever it is celebrated it always brings thoughts of the past year, and hopes for the year to come - and this must surely be therepeutic. Happy New Year to everyone. Jo New Year's eve is like every other night; there is no pause in the marchof the universe, no breathless moment of silence among created thingsthat the passage of another twelve months may be noted; and yet no manhas quite the same thoughts this evening that come with the coming ofdarkness on other nights.~Hamilton Wright Mabie ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.434 / Virus Database: 243 - Release 25/12/
Guest guest
Your goals seem to be the same as mine for the year...I've become acutely aware of the need for better communication with others as well as appreciating each day. Good for you regarding educational goals. I have an administrative background but became a licensed massage therapist four years ago and am now attending school to become a physical therapy assistant. I should finish the first quarter of 2005 so I am almost half through. Since I'll be 58 in 2004, it seemed the fastest career to achieve while meeting my needs for a new direction. Good luck to you! I hope that the coming year brings each of us new awareness of our selves and our connections to each other, and increases our capabilities to love unconditionally and find peace. On a personal level, does anyone have any goals for themselves to begin the year with? (I really don't like the word 'resolutions' too much) A couple of my own are to explore education options that will help me to not only be productive but fulfilled in the long term. I'd also like to focus more on personal stress reduction and self care, something that often falls by the way in this busy world. Whatever your objectives are for the year ahead, may you find the available resources to accomplish them with ease and joy! Blessings, R. C. Guest guest
And good luck to you as well, Penny, sounds like you will be having a busy year ahead of you! Having just been through a round of PT for my knee, I really appreciate the people who pushed me to rehabilitate. Blessings! Guest guest
Very well said!! I agree and apply what you said to myself!!! Thanks and wishing all of you a wonderful New Year!! Lokesh Bhog <lokeshbhogTuesday, 1 January, 2008 9:53:35 AM Happy New Year New Year is the time to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the coming year. It is the time to forget and get past memories that are no longer useful or worth pondering upon. It is the time for new beginnings and new starts in life. New Year has a message for each one of us. One should let go of the past that has bad memories and accept what has happened, has happened for some reason. Instead of clinging onto your past and things that have gone, it is better to let go. New year is the time of new beginnings. It is time to start afresh and do things that would make someone else smile. Make a pledge to make at least one person happy. You will see the difference it can make in both your lives. The essential message of New Year is let go off the past and embrace life as it comes to you. You will be happier and merrier that way.
