Guest guest
Dear Todd I agree with your opinion. The pure Ayurveda is taught by very few Vaidya. Even in Colleges at graduation and post graduation level very superficial knowledge is given to students. It is a long run problem of Indian Educational System. In India our educationist are under impression that what originated in Western is the only science and what originated in India is all trash. It is our fight against mental slavery of our own brothers. Now what I see is a changing scenario more advantageous to Ayurveda. But we must be cautious and avoid commercialisation of Ayurveda. What is wrong in commercialisation ? I think Medical profession is a need of community and commercialisation is a major hindrance to reach poor and needy people. As your are leaving is Western country you are a better judge of cost of Medical services. I thanks you for giving voice to real problem.
