Guest guest
Dear online friend Nilesh, Refering to the last para of your post, Ramdev Baba recommends rubbing of nails for dandruff or falling or greying hair and not for tooth pain. For tooth pain, he recommends accupressure on the tips of the fingers at the end of the nails. Please ask some yoga teacher associated with Baba Ramdev to explain its details. Where ever he holds yoga camps, he trains yoga teachers who carry on with the teaching and spreading of yoga message to many more persons on a regular basis. S. M. Acharya. _____ During my last visit to a dentist, they told me that I have two bacteria-infected teeth that need to be drilled and filled. Another dentist even recommended root canal treatment for both of them.

I do not want to go through the same ordeal > again. Any foreign material introduced to the body is ultimately > harmful. advanced dental caries are incurable as per ayurveda, and so if you don't want to manage a losing battle with a chronic infection, you either need to get it drilled out and filled or pull the teeth - chronic dental infection is a common source of many different health problems, such as heart issues (e.g. endocarditis), and should not be left to fester ayurveda makes recommendations for proper oral hygiene, which consists of tongue scraping, chewing on medicinal twigs, gum massage, and rinsing the mouth and throat with various oils and aqueous (water) extracts (i.e. gandusha and kavala) in addition, which might consider that flossing is a very good innovation, and also small interdental brushes to get off the plaque in between teeth, esp. in lieu of proper chewing sticks that more or less serve the same purpose all of these preventative and maintenance measures with help to prevent and maybe slow the progression of a tooth infection, but are not curative in advanced infections on the dentistry side, one particular technique i have been strongly recommending is a relatively new technology from sweden called carisolv (www.carisolv.com) basically, its a fluid similar to bleach that when applied to the cavity denatures only the infected regions, leaing a roughened, pitted surface 100% free of bacteria that is an ideal surface upon which to adhere a filling - chances of microleakage (between filling and tooth) is very small compared to " drill and fill " methods when applied to the infected tooth, it bubbles like hydrogen peroxide, and turns the infected tooth pulp on a kind of jelly that is then mechanically removed - in most cases, no drills are required as for filling materials, gold is about the safest, followed by ceramic and then composite you may have to ask your dentist to special order carisolv - its in common use throughout northern Europe best... Guest guest
Hello All: I called Ramdev Baba's hotline and talked to a Yoga teacher. I just wanted to share my findings with everyone. The Yoga teacher suggested that I do a certain kind of pranayama along with a kind of marma therapy. The marma therapy to treat tooth related problems involves pressing the points adjacent to the nails. These points are located on the skin just above the nails from where the nails erupt/originate on all the fingers of your hands and the middle toes that are next to the big toes on both the legs. He recommended pressing all the points 20- 25 times a day. The pranayama involves sucking the air in through the mouth with force and exhaling through the nose. 10-15 repetitions should be enough. I have tried them for just 4 days and I already witness improvement -- I have not gotten an x-ray done yet (it's too early), but my gums in between the infected teeth have stopped bleeding! Thanks, Nilesh _________ For tooth pain, he recommends accupressure on the tips of the fingers at the end of the nails. Please ask some yoga teacher associated with Baba Ramdev to explain its details.
Guest guest
Thanks for sharing your experience! Some home remedies listed in message 3883 accessible by double clicking on ayurveda/message/3883 may be tried. The one which uses sesame oil, salt and camphor has been experienced as potent for killing infection in few days, if it was just beginning of tooth pain. _ I have tried them for just 4 days and I already witness improvement
Guest guest
Yes, I have also found it helpful. My tooth pain is almost gone. I tried it alongwith my ATBSNR exercises by just softly banging all the finger tips on the bed when you are lying down comfortably in bed or otherwise. S. M.
