Guest guest
There have been some posts before around this topic. It seems that self urine gives you micronutrients and thats why its suggested to not eat meat and to eat a healthy diet so that urine is also healthier and does the body good after reingesting. This is my question. Suppose someone is taking a particular medication, antidepressant or synthetic hormone and their dose is say 300 mg of that medication. Wouldnt they do fine on a lesser dose, say 200 mg or less with self urine therapy since they are reingesting that medicine again with the urine. What I mean to say is, you need less of something when you recycle. So would this apply in the above situation? If yes, then isnt it a good idea to take less medication and just recycle it by self urine therapy? I guess not but can someone explain why? is it because what is passed in the urine is toxic remains of the medicine that body doesnt need and its not a good idea to reingest that? But then, why doesnt that apply to urine therapy itself. If urine contains things that the body doesnt want, why does it help to drink it? Thanks

The craving reduces slowly and then you simply start using less of intoxicant/medicine. please read earlier message: ayurveda/message/11952 One secret here is: when a particular chemical/micronutrient enters the body through urine therapy (applies to both self urine or panchgavya therapy) it enters the form which is highly bio-available, so body is happy to accept smaller dose too. In drugs which are less bio-available, body has to struggle breaking them down in liver so that that useful part is absorbed. This makes drug resistance slowly creep in, as toxic residues far exceed useful part, which too is incomplete, causing cravings. Another advantage of both panchgavya and self urine therapy is you are recycling something which has already passed through kidney once, and being now in micro form, chances of damaging kidney nephrons further are minimised. With 90% synthetic drugs damaging to the liver and kidney, is this not a most important point? > If yes, then isnt it a good idea to take less medication and just recycle it by self urine therapy? But then, why doesnt that apply to urine therapy itself. If urine contains things that the body doesnt want, why does it help to drink it?> The toxic residues eliminated by body are more concentrated in beginning part and last part of self urine. If you avoid those two and take only middle third, one need not fear about toxic residues, and recycle medication through self urine therapy. Trouble comes when some toxic parts (which are water soluble) remain even in middle third of self urine. In order to dilute them with micronutrients, Fruits/vegetable juices are taken throughout the day, so that self urine contains major part as vitamins, hormones, minerals and enzymes. This strategy helps. Self urine therapy is 98% practice, only 2% theory, so such doubts are possible. It is only experience that teaches the truth. There too, a doubting scientific mindset has a hurdle to overcome, which is Herxheimer reaction. As a healing crisis, cold, mucous, snizzing, cough, body pain, vomits, skin erruptions, itching, low fever, initial dowsiness, fatigue are results as body is trying to eliminate the toxins. Immune system springs into action and this test the patient must pass. In case of such reaction, one can back up a little, reduce the dosage/stop for few days and give only juices to the body. Sometimes, even fasting detoxification gives such a recation; e.g. visit: http://health.ayurveda/message/9552 While the post may have cleared your question, one important point needs to be brought out. Many drugs which suppress a certain symptom, as a result of some toxic substance in the drug, may become ineffective with panchgavya therapy. The reason is, the part of the drug which is toxic to the body is now eliminated by cow urine content, its property being absorbing the toxicity. Now pathway differs and one may not get the advantage(?) of synthetic drug. It is better to avoid mixing allopathy with Panchgavya therapy. The whole power of Panchgavya or self-urine therapy may get wasted in acting as detoxifier.
