Guest guest Posted November 1, 2007 Report Share Posted November 1, 2007 I am suffering from subjected problem although I am regular in walking,Pranayam,yoga,sudarshan kriya and meditation.Immediately after eating I feel flatulence for long time and I take only light foods.There is a lot of gas formation.there is no constipation.I regularly take lemon and honey in lukewarm water in empty stomach.I am fed up from this gas problem.Specialy Milk and milk products do not suit me at all.Iam 43 yrs old.I am non alcohalic and pure vegeterian.Pl suggest suitable remeady. Do not forget to add a spoon of ginger juice and a pinch of salt to it. This usualy relieves flatulence. Guest guest Posted November 2, 2007 Report Share Posted November 2, 2007 Please try to cook the food in proper way as mentioned in Ayurveda.Dry roast the lentils before cooking and add a pinch of hing(asfoetida) in dal while boiling.The following herbs may be used fr cooking: fenugreek seeds ,cumin seeds,mustard seeds,onion seeds(kalaunji). Steep 1/4 tsp. each of cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and fennel seeds for 15 minutes. Strain and put spice water in a thermos, and sip throughout the day. Enjoy!
