Guest guest
Namasthe, Hereby i am introducing our ayurveda chikitsa kendram(treatment Center), where classical Panchakarma Chikitsa(treatment) is used as the main method of treatment. Ashtanga sangraha says - " Dosha: kadachit kupyanthi jita lankhana pachanai: / Ye tu samsodhanai sudha na thesham punarudbhava // " Doshas subsided by shamana methods like lankhana(fasting) pachana(digestives) etc may reoccure; but those treated with PROPER SODHANA (purification therapy) will never reoccure !! The word Samsodhana(proper purificatory therapy) is of much importance. We know many centers which offers Panchakarma, but not doing the real panchakarma. Oil massage, oil bath, pinda sweda etc procedures are offered somewhere in the name of PK. Or giving small quantities of medicated ghee for few days & doing a Purgation for 5 - 6 times is called as PK. No wonder, there are many centers which offer PK within 7 days !! To do Snehapana untill samyak snigdhaavastha, abhyanga sweda, vamana & samsarjana krama will take around 12 days. Usually when we recieve patients they wont be fit for snehapana directly. We used to do a pachana for few days before snehapana, to make the srothas(channels) & agni ready for it. And I am proud to say that we recieve lot of people from all over the globe coming for PK booking their dates for 2 months ! PLEASE VISIT OUR WEB SITE FOR MORE INFORMATION ( www.ayurvedic-tourism.com ) & CONTACT US FOR ANY CLARIFICATION. We also Teach Ashtanga sangraha in the methode prescribed by the text in its second chapter. As Charaka sutra sthana 30th chapter says tantra has to be taught in three steps. 1) vakyasha 2) vakyarthasha 3) Vakyartha avayavasha We go through each sloka of sangraha in these 3 methods. Along with this theoretical study students will be trained in the practice of the text as well. What ever medicine we give or therapy we do have always a textual base. There is no room for secracy in our sacred science. Ussualy we teach 1 to 3 students at a time. Students stay in our own home & study. Main theoretical classes are done in Brahma Muhurta. At present a psychotherapist from Germany (Gabriella) is studying here. We have trained about 10 students in last 4 years. Carmen loderus form albequerky US is our eldest student who is running an Ayurvedic hospital there now. She comes once in every year for further studies. After first level students are taught free of coast if they proove successful in practice !! With Navarathri Wishes! Dr.Vidya Vijith Ignorance is the basic cause of disease ! Heal yourself through knowing the self(Ayurveda) !!
Guest guest
hi dr. vidya i found your post very interesting as you know, PK treatments are offered all over india on an out- patient basis and here in the west, what is called PK is mostly just purva karmas have you had specific cases that had been treated on the basis of this outpatient PK that didn't respond to treatment, but did with inpatient _classical_ PK? also, i am interested to hear of your amapachana protocol - what diet and formulas are you typically using? best...
