Namasthe,

I am a fresh vaidya who became eligible for practise a few months

ago.

During the studies, as every one i also studied the

brihatrayees & laghuthrayees

But now i am realising that it was only a peripheral study.Actually it was

the same with all my collegues.

Now i have an opportunity to study & work the classical ayurveda

with an ayurvedic vaidya who has deep insight in the classics. .We are studying

the clasical texts and following the same in treating people. And we found it

has got a magical result .By this way we are concentrating more on the karya

karana sidhantha(the cause and effect theory). We can find the importance of the

knowledge of the nidanas in treatments. And also we are concentrating mainly on

helping the body to cure the disease by its own.

dear vaidyas what is your opinion regarding treating with

classical ayurveda? I dont know whether anyone of you are also following the

same method? I THINK IT IS THE TIME FOR US TO REALISE THE STRENGTH OF OUR

CLASSICS AND ANSWER TO THEM WHO BLAMES AYURVEDA.

with warm regards

Dr.Vidya

Dear Dr Vidya,

Where are you practicing? Who is the vaidya you are studying and working with?

Classical Ayurveda can at times be clumsy due to the fast life-styles. And

patients may tend to loose patience in procedural modalities like making

decoctions, pastes etc.

But it is a time-tested truth re-iterated even by Ayurvedic seers ( rishis )

that Ayurveda is effective in all times and ages, if it is applied properly

according to it's dictums and principles.
