Guest guest
>i still have sometimes bad quality sleep. a friend told me that if we go to bathroom to pee in morning and before colecting the urine only a ray of light touches our skin, there will not be any drop of active melatonin lef in the fluid. To have melatonin getting eliminated in urine, you should have enjoyed so deep sleep that you get up fresh approximately at 4 - 5 o'clock local mean time. Good sleep for 6 hours is OK for people who do yoga, meditation etc and have no stress at all. They will be eliminating melatonin in urine. If one collects urine at this time, question of light does not arise. > it's hard to belive this for some logical reasons. first i know the light will prevent the pineal gland (epiphysis cerebri) from producing its hormones, but will not inactivate the hormones existing in body (in blood or wherever). second, the urine is inside the urinary bladder and i don't thik the ray of light will affect the hormone through so many layers (skin, fat, pelvic bones and muscles, the walls of bladder). still he put a doubt in my mind, cause i didn't read any seriouse study on this particular aspect. will it be inactivated if sun rays will touch the fluid when i collect it? what already exists in bladder will be collected. so if melatonin exists, it will be collected. When urine is put in a glass bottle and exposed to sunlight 10 am to 3 pm daily for 5-10 days, a concentrated skin cosmetic results. Being 98% practice and 2% theory, do it yourself and find out the effect on skin. application should be by gentle massage for 15-20 minutes and detailed procedures can be read in uropathy books, or in archives of this group. urine should get absorbed in the skin and do not use of synthetic soaps during cold water bath after skin dries up fully. >pls read beyond those symbols and understand what we can reach by using this therapy. One example should speak what can be written in thick volumes. Hon. Morarji Desai, late prime minsiter of India, passed away at age 99 after practicing the therapy for more than 30 years. His skin was pinkish and smooth like a 20 year old girl's skin. Author has seen him from a distance of six feet and could sense his youthful fountain of energy. even from a distance. He reached to meet us at 7 am in morning! All fresh and walking like a youth aged 20. Did not use any electronic equipment to address a 500 strong crowd and delivered speech for just 15 minutes, standing erect at age 86, the voice having hypnotic effect. > i do not say that urine is soma. soma is a subtile fluid. but, as any sublile phenomena, this energy can get materialized in different manners. part of its " material " expressions are pineal hormones, which are eliminated through urine and we can recirculate into our body by this manner. this subtil fluid seems to be related to tarpaka kapha also. Soma is drunk by yogi in Khechari mudra, a drop or two of possibly cerebro-spinal fluid, rich in proteins, glucose and minerals. > when i " tasted " sringataka (trapa bispinosa). i had just a state of " listening " inside. percienving my structure like a void space with " walls " which were listening the space inside, completly detached from anything, just enjoying this state. sringataka is sweet taste, rasayana, having spiritual effects (used in spiritual fasting). all this makes me think it might be another expression of soma. could it be? author understands shringataka as one spot where prana is absorbed. It is a marma spot. It is located above the spot where tongue touches in the beginning stages of khechari. To understand what is khechari visit: http://www.geocities.com/kriyadc/kechari.html you can feel strong pulsations at the spot where you put thumb and another finger during pranayama. Nasal passage has many nerve endings. Air is made to turn downward causing friction above the shringataka. During meditation, breathing to excite sushumna nadi, a drop or two of soma falls. Neti and nasya highten the effect of breathing techniques and energy currents are felt during the relaxation phase. Even volumes of material can not be equated with self experience where Tantra is concerned. It may be interesting to connect the hormonal cycles of the body with manifestations of bioenergy inside the etherial body. There exist many propositions to connect these phenomena with bio energy. Author describes these in brief, since voluminous books have been written on these theories. Physics, quantum mechanics familiarity will make it easier to understand these. The energy exhibits several vortices, which generally exist in twins, having opposite spins. (The strength of these vortices for an individual can be judged by examining 3-6-9-12 houses of the natal chart) These energy vortices have another characteristic: they pulsate, that means they change back and forth between the centrifugal and the centripetal condition(positive spin and negative spin). The vortices may also be observed during a cyclone in atmosphere. In nature this is commonly the underlying cause of pulsations observed in astrophysics for instance or with biological clocks that determine most of the rhythms of biological life. For this reason, we may call these pulsating energy vortices as pulsons. Author could understand why patients with pitta vitiation, rashes, severe migraines, vomits, nosebleeds come during some particular time of the year, only after studying the bioenergy phenomena driven by movement of sun in particular stars, sun-spot activity etc. February-March 2007 was the period when so many got their M/C after a delay of 20 to 40 days! When Todd says that Vaidyas need to study new situations, challanges to human health through environment, it is this part which needs to be studied, which you may not find in Sanskrit! The medicine for this sort of problems may not be found in herbs, but in lifestyle and environment. Vaidya, while trying to read the pulse, is trying to understand the energy states of the body, and gets much more info about the body and mind, depending on his own concentration and level of attainment. The word pulson is derived from pulse, and modern doctors are also trying to diagnose state of heart beats and circulation by studying the pulse through ECG etc. Patrick Flanagan observed the vortices in 'living', turbulently moving water to oscillate periodically and rhythmically, at one stage shrinking in diameter and extending in length and then contracting again and enlarging in diameter (Towards a New Alchemy by N. Begich, Earthpulse Press, Anchorage). These can be observed by anyone in water flowing with high velocity. when flow changes the character from laminar to turbulent, these vortices initiate the instabilities. They are high energy density manifestations. The creation of vortices can also be seen by blowing high speed air over a cyclinderical object, attached to a spring. In Fluid mechanics they are known as Karman vortices. Remember Kathrina cyclonic storm? Depending on the frequency and energy density of the phenomenon, the non-manifested part of a pulson with its characteristic pulsation frequency is behind the electromagnetic oscillations of atoms or crystals, the energy pulsations of stellar bodies, the oscillations of the periphery of our sun, sunspot cycles and magnetic pole reversals. As the internal clock found in living organisms, it regulates the metabolism, sleep and wake cycles, heartbeat and breathing. Various studies have shown that we have three biorhythm cycles, which start at the time of our birth. A 23-day cycle has been linked to our biological body, a 28-day cycle to our emotional body connected to reproductive hormonal secretion, and a 33-day cycle to our mental body. It is believed that these cycles are the result of the oscillation rates of the twin-pulsons of these respective bodies. Hormonal disturbances are caused by stress. Occasional delay in menstrual cycle start due to stress; similarly, synchonization of cycles of women living under the same family roof gets explained by energy driven clock. Why we loose sleep as a result of stress or loose stress when we get good sleep may be inferred by energy driven hormonal clock. On the other hand, why our magnetic and electric field is highest in sleep is also obvious. The energy state is now slowly being accepted by science too, as this field can be mapped by Krillian photography. The origin of stress itself gets explained as pulson aberration. In humans, biorhythm cycles are indicators of the individual times of their different energy levels. Subjective time is our conscious awareness of the rate of change. It is everyone's experience that if we walk on a new road for the first time, the road will appear much longer than when we walk repeatedly along the same road. This is due to the much greater rate of sense information when we do something new or for the first time. After repeated actions, mind wanders elsewhere, as relaxed. The mind becomes bored and takes no interest, causing relaxation when we chant a mantra repeatedly. For the same reason time appears to slow down in dangerous situations or in children as compared to the elderly. When time slows down, there is relaxation. Spiritual masters tell us that time, as we know it exists only in the materialized universe. In the higher spiritual regions time as such becomes meaningless as everything is `eternal now'. This means, for the spirit there is no past or future. Since time ceases to exist during deep meditation, stress also dissolves, stress being created by rate of change different from our expectation. If we follow the life style harmonious with the high and low tides of these pulsating energies, we will live in zero stress lifestyle. No cravings for carbs, indigestion, fatigue. Ever youthful and innocent like kids.
Guest guest
hello, dr bhate thank you, the mail u sent is amaizing! i know some physics, it was necessary for an exam in order to be admited in medicine university , so i understood all u wrote. when i wrote sringataka, i refered to a plant, trapa bispinosa, or water chestnut which has many names including this one. i guess is not by hazard to have almost the name of that marma. i never did khechari mudra for 2 big reasons: 1. in my yoga school it is forbidden; if i do it and i'm cought, i can be expelled. this rule become necassary (it was allowed and even taught more than 10 years ago, but i never got to learn it officialy) because we have the bad habbit of not listening to our teachers, so we might do it in a wrong manner. this is a dangerous exercise and a mistake can have seriouse effects. there r some initiation and methods for selected people, not for groups, this is one of them. 2. i was born with frenulum lingue (sublingual midline fold) going to much towards the tip of the tongue, so i could not articulate properly, expecially words containing " L " sound. my parents cut it alittle but not enough (someone with " muzical ear " can realize i do not prounce perfectly " L " sound) so i have not much mobility of tongue to fold it backwards. i know i can cut it, i red many methods, like cutting 1 mm per weak and than add plants or honney + salt to heal faster, but the first reason keeps me from doing this. i'm also not really obedient and i'm superficial sometimes, so by not corecting this anathomic impediment i keep myself from braking the rule in some moment of too much egotic trust in myself. i did sometimes what i was told not to do, and i suffered the effects (i wrote in a message, posted here 2-3 months ago, how i woke up kundalini on pingala and what happened to me; fortunately far from the worst possible). anyway, u convinced me to do again urine therapy. and i will do jalandhara bandha for soma. thanks again
