Guest guest
surgery is not so difficult and the pain will dissapear. even if it will not be 100% function, anyway it will be much better. on the other hand it might destroy some nadis and for sure the anesthesic has big side effects. no matter what u decide, a spray or gel is the worst option. not only that u r introducing chemicals in your body, but also u might become dependent on them, meaning the sympthoms will come back if u stop using them, and even they will lose eficiency in time. some of them are inducing chronical rhinitis on long term use, and i didn't see anybody cured from this last one. ______________________ I have a deviated septum and sometimes have a problem breathing from my right nostril as the deviation is towards the right i went to my ENT he checked my sinuses which was clean and suggested me one of the 2 things: 1.Keep using the Ayr nasal Gel and other spray that he prescribed will open up my nasal passage and allow me to breathe freely-this again is a temporary solution or; 2.Go for a surgery to correct the septum-which would be a permanent way of treating the problem
Guest guest
Dear Kunal Deviated septum can not be rectified by herbal medications. But difficulty in breathing can be solved to great extent. Continue pranayama. Do it daily for 20 minutes. Consume 5 gms of triphala with 2 tea spoons of honey daily in morning. Apply a thin coat of pure ghee in both nostrils to prevent burning sensation and to make the breathing easier instead of gels or sprays. Always drink warm water (You can keep store it in flask and use it repeatedly throught day) Put few drops of eucalyptus oil on your pillow before going to bed. Guest guest
Kunal Yoga and pranayam can only help your deviated septum. i would imagine that yoga would have a somewhat temporary effect on the septum. I do not know much about the operation. Also laying on your left side will automatically open up the right nostril but it may take a few minutes for it to happen. It is best to go to sleep laying on your right side so you will breathe out of your left nostril or to go to sleep on your back in corpse pose. If one has trouble getting up in the morning then lay on the left side. Guest guest
So Many live happily with so many structural defects in the body. The breathing difficulties and snoring noise if taken care of, deviated septum can pose no problem unless it become a hurdle in getting good life partner. Pranayam after neti and nasya (not both on the same day, but say nasya on odd dates and neti on even dates) has solved the breathing and snoring problems of two of authors patients. They also adopted the suggestions given by Guru. Theese may be anecdotal cases, but no harm trying since the approach is more or less drugless. ayurveda , " Guru K " <greatyoga wrote: > Yoga and pranayam can only help your deviated septum. i would > imagine that yoga would have a somewhat temporary effect on the > septum.
