Guest guest
hello Shruti, How to cleanse your nose with Yogi's NoseBuddy Clean the pot and spoon with hot water before using them for the first time. 1. Put one level measuring spoon of salt in NoseBuddy (4.5 g) Use a fine grained table or cooking salt, preferably free from additives such as iodine and anti–caking agent. Coarse grained salt may be used, although make sure it is fully dissolved. Some people use sea salt, but others have reported allergic reactions, such as congestion, caused by that type of salt. http://divya-yog-mandir.blogspot.com/2007/09/how-to-cleanse-your-nose-with-yogis\ ..html _____________________------ > my nose has a tendency to get blocked from my childhood.also sometimes i > snore very loudly. Guest guest
Two practical things you can try - one is to raise the head of your bed 6 " - check this out on google - there are many other advantages to doing this too - and secondly check your neck - a firm massage to relieve the muscle tension there often has great results on a blocked nose - and then there are the Ayurvedic measures which I'm sure will arrive shortly! Guest guest
there is a method named nasya, made in panchakarma centers. it involves putting some oils in your nose in order to remove accumulated doshas from head area. u need a specialist to decide the type of oil, so u better ask help from the panchakarma specialist, some good ones are in this group. i would like to know more details to get a precise ideea of your problem, but generraly head is the site for kapha accumulation so having a light diet, active life style, avoiding draft, protect yourself from wet cold wether, braking the strong attachments, rigid, stucked thinking and ideeas and so on. drinking warm fluids and eating spices like fresh ginger will make your nose run and help in removing the mucus accumulated there. still, the strongest advice is to ask for nasya therapy. ___________ my nose has a tendency to get blocked from my childhood.also sometimes i snore very loudly. kindly let me know what is the treatment for the same and which exercises or pranayamas will help. Guest guest
Pranayama Anulom and Vilom help you to get rid of this . But you have to do it daily. Avoid foods which cause kapha (cold, refrigerated, too much of sweets etc) If you are obese , try to reduce weight. Keep on drinking hot water Put few drops of Eucalyptus oil on your pillow before going to bed . This helps to ease the breathing.
