Guest guest
Is it not true that the Vaidyas prepare and make up their own medicines? If this is so - would a retail store not " water down " Ayurveda? By either encouraging people to prescribe for themselves - a rather " hit or miss " situation which would not necessarily be a benefit to Ayurvedic Medicine's reputation - or would the shop keeper himself start playing the role or practitioner? Sure in other countries where Ayurvedic medicines are hard to find this would be a bonus - but in a city like Mumbai where there are many other available genuine practitioners what is the need? Is there one? If anyone can answer this query I would be interested to know what their opinion is. Jane " cybervaidya " > .............. I must say I was disturbed by it as a ayurveda doctor.
