Guest guest
dear cybervaidya myself also running a hospital in kerala, we treat poor patients freely, that we are doing as our obligation to the society. as you said, nobody gives us concessions. we have to pay full rent, full electricity bill(8 times that of a residential house), phone bill, salary, advertisement, and even donations( in kerala donations means money taken forcefully from various parties irrespective right/left). no concessions are there. when the margin on allopathic ranges from a minimum of 40% to 1000% or more, genuine ayurvedic medicines comes with only 30% max. that is also after a lot of bargains, even after 5 successful years, we have to bargain the margins. if we are not money oriented, how we can survive, how we can run our service? snehapoorvam vipin
Guest guest
You are not money orientated if you give free care to the poor - but at the same time you have to bargain for better prices so that you are able to help those who need you - and you have to be practical and to a certain extent you have to use your business head as you are running a business to benefit mankind - perhaps you can encourage those who receive free treatment and their friends and families to help you raise more money for your hospital and for the care you give. What donations do you have to give to others? Do others also give donations to the hospital?
