Guest guest
There was a discussion not long ago about ring worm and several natural remedies were present. I can only state from my personal experience that slighty diluted iodine gets rid of it quickly. herbal remedies , " Darren " <exodia71> wrote: > i have found in the files section " Anti-Parasite, Anti-Fungal Formula " > does this cure ring worm? > as i understand it is a fungus > can somebody explain MENRUM? > where do i find it? > Darren

Guest guest
Menstrum is the liquid or oil used to pull/extract out the different nutrients used for healing in a tincture, tonic or herbal oil. There are three basic. 1. Alcohol (100 proof is good or 75) 2. Oil, generally Olive and 3. Apple Cider Vinegar. Some herbs do better with some menstrums. Guest guest
1. Avoid tight underclothes, clothes made from synthetic fibers. Keep areas of body dry where excessive sweating occurs. 2. Drastically reduce refined sugar, processed carbohydrates, floor, fried food, bakery products, fermented items. Avoid tea/coffee. If possible be on fruits and vegetable juices/soups for 4 days. A tsp of fenugreek seeds, soaked overnight, take only soaked water in the morning at breakfast time. 3. Apply neem oil on the spots which are itching/burning. If neem oil difficult to get, you can use tea tree oil. 4. Crush a garlic pearl in a cup, add half a cup yogurt (curd) which has not turned sour, and drink it first thing in the early morning. You may add ¼ tsp turmeric to yogurt, if you are allergic to yogurt. 5. The fastest but difficult remedy is to massage the area with saturated sea salt solution in water, thrice a day. The stinging sensation is the difficult part of this remedy. 6. OTC Anti-fungal creams will suppress the itch only for few days. The cortisone contents will darken the skin permanently,. This is already mentioned in: http://health.ayurveda/message/10854 There are many home remedies, but the root cause can be tackled only by reducing insulin resistance which causes fungal infections. The fresh juice of bitter gourd, the dose decided by a vaidya or gradual self experience can stop this problem for life time. Similarly, cinnamon powder mixed with honey and applied on itching areas can kill fungus rapidly. But again, the healing crisis: the stinging sensation makes this remedy difficult. Many remedies in ayurveda are like these, in sharp contrast to sugar coated tablets or immuno-suppresant creams offered by modern pharma. ______________________ > i am having ring worm skin rash patches between my legs. .... i try to keep it dry by applying talcum powder and am also applying over the counter cream " cortizone " . can you help me to curb growth of the rash.
