Lymph node swelling

I am a 39 yr old Indian female.Almost a month ago I developed a 2cm

round node right above my left hand collar bone. A week later I got

really sick with flu like symptoms. Fever, congestion and none stop

cough which got bad at night. Most of the symptoms lasted around 10

days except cough which is still lingering. Its not bad at night

anymore. Its dry, wheezing kind of cough that happens when I talk. If

I stay quite hours go by before I have urge to cough. Lymph node's

(above the collar bone) swelling has gone down to 1cm node and up and

down couple of times. Right now its around 1cm.

My doctors suspected breast cancer and sent me for mammogram and ultra

sound. Which wasn't conclusive. Then they thought it may be lung

cancer but chest xray showed lungs were clear. Three days back they

sent me for CT Scan and it showed more lymph nodes in chest (around 5

or 6)that are swollen and are around 1 cm. Now they suspect lymphoma.

But are not sure. They want to go for biopsy and surgically remove the

lymph node from the neck above the breast bone.

Is there any other infection that can cause this? Is there any

ayurvedic treatment I should try before I let them cut me open.
