Recently I found out that one of my cats has tapeworms. That cat has been

sleeping in my bed. What can I do to keep from getting these worms? I got

treated for tapeworm once before a few years ago.

Dear Darla,

It is known that Tapeworm infestation is spread only by eating infected

muscle.

So, if you eat your cat, you may get tapeworm in your intestine.

The chances of you eating your pet is very less I suppose.

So ths chances of you getting tapeworm infestation from your cat is very very

less.
