he has very good health, his weight is 62 kg, he has good appetite

as well as regular motion habits.

i have tried following mwdicines as decoction but no major progress

is there.

Have you given him Swami Ramdev's pranayama regime to help him expel the lung

congestion Hakim? Have you recommended an increase in his water intake? Dr

Batmanghelidj also recommends a certain amount of salt to help dissolve such

congestion for easier expulsion - even here in the west we use a normal saline

solution to help break up congestion - as an inhalation via nebuliser. Some

asanas would also help his lungs.

If he is or has been a smoker then this would certainly change the picture.

Often the state of the lungs is an indication of the condition of the gut so

cleansing the bowels is an important part of the cure.

hello, mr hakim

does he really has sputum in lungs? from the original message i understood that

the patient " feels " he has it. it could be for pulmonary reasons or from cardiac

ones. from that description it sounded to me more like pulmonary oedema, which

happenes in cardiac insufficiency, this generally gives mixed sounds including

sibilant , being often mistaken for asthma. crepitant might indicate pneumonia,

especially if it has a precise location. it might be also some kind of

bronchitis or even asthma, the type that goes mainly with mucus and less with

constriction, the stridor is rising this option. the top of lungs, upper part,

is the location for tuberculosis or other few really severe pneumonia, which

might be lethal if he is not properly treated in time. pls, give me more

objective details: i mean the opinion of a doctor or ayurvedic doctor who cheked

on him.

if it is just mucus, VAMANA, the therapeuthic vomiting will be great for him.

but he should not do it before someone will check his heart condition.

hi again.

i forgot one thing. he should be also cheked for cancer in main air-ways. the

obstruction of one major bronchia by a tumor is producing stridor and also lots

of mucus.

again, if it's only mucus than it's good, the excess of kapha is still located

in its " home " so it's easy to eliminate. if vamana is not enough, than he should

do purva karma before vamana. also combined spicy and bitter plants which

should be warm, light (not heavy) and dry, reducing kapha, reducing the adhesion

of ama to channels and oppening the channel, inhancing the flow through srota.

u gave him glyccyrhiza, this is grate, it's making kapha fluid and easy to be

removed. u can use this plant extract for vamana too.

hi again

i have the feeling i ofended you somehow, and i appologise for that.

i'm glad it's just sputum, but i'm sorry if u don't understand the terms i used.

then i cannot help u much. vamana and the methods before it cannot be tought

on net. this is not good, because they would be very efficient in his case. hope

the others advices will be of better use for u.

as u can see, i still suffer from " hospital syndrom " . my brain immediately

starts to search for possible reasons of the sympthoms and build up a plan of

investigations. it's still a big effort to think in ayurvedic manner.

good health to your patient
