1. If you get fresh neem leaves, boil them in a vessel full of water

for 15-20 minutes till water takes up color. Add this water to warm

bath water and scrub body with this water. This bath twice a day, till

skin itching subsides and all erruptions gone.

2.. Take neem leaves juice empty stomach in morning.

3. sleeping on bed having neem leaves spread, also beneficial.

If you cant obtain neem leaves in fresh form,

4. Apply honey to erruptions area. This tackles itching very fast.

what is ayurvedic? appropriate medicines at the appropriate time

that resolves both the cause and symptoms...

in this case, i prefer local herbs that are easily available

tincture of st. john's wort and echinacea root, equal parts, taken in

doses of 5 mL 5x/day in warm water for the first couple days until

the lesions erupt, then taper off the doses as they heal to 5 mL

thrice daily (note - this is adult dose - to use clark's rule to

adjust for children, i.e. divide the child's weight in pounds by 150

and multiply the result by the adult dose)

for the itching specifically, stuff a large sock full with oatmeal,

tie off the end and throw into a very hot bath

let the bath cool enough to get in, and then use the sock to sponge

the lesions with, squeezing out the milky liquid over your body

also, take some extra vitamin A (20,000), C (2-3 g) and E (800 IU) to

help the lesions heal

altogether, the entire condition should resolve in about a week

best.... todd
